It's no secret - our culinary culture is making news

Food critics throughout the country say our cuisine is making news. It started with Nick’s Italian Café and the Joel Palmer House. With the growth of the wine industry, more and more chefs are choosing to make this their culinary home.

Downtown McMinnville alone provides an international array of restaurants. Choose from Italian, French, Thai, Mexican, Japanese and even Spanish. Lafayette, Dayton, Dundee and Newberg offer even more.

Consider The Painted Lady and The Allison Inn's Jory in Newberg, Cuvée and Cielo Blu in Carlton or Tina's and Red Hills Provincial Dining in Dundee.

Then there's the locavore movement building momentum. It's easy to understand why, as an array of delicacies originate here. The Dundee Bistro, SubTerra and many other restaurants are dedicated to using local and regional food in their menus.
